Chris Standring is a successful jazz recording artist, after spending 15 years as a touring sideman and studio guitarist in London and Los Angeles. For the past four years he has been signed to the New York label Instinct Records. December 2005 he signed a deal with Trippin' n Rhythm/V2 records and released "Soul Express" ion 2006 which went top 20 in Billboard and top 15 in the R&R national radio chart. July 2002 he signed a record deal with Mesa/Bluemoon records and 2003 saw the release of his 3rd solo album "Groovalicious" , Hip Sway", released 2000 reached number 2 in the charts and opened up a busy touring schedule across the country." Velvet", (his debut solo album) released 1998, reached number 9 in the national US NAC radio charts. " Chris is now successful in the UK (his homeland) and performs there in concert venues annually. His music appears on many compilation CDs also.

Chris is also the founder of the renowned internet site A&R Online (www.aandronline.com) where unsigned artists are selected and presented to major and independent labels on a monthly basis. Individual tracks are also licensed for movie and television use. It is also a vast resource for music business education.
