Good key to play in. (all of them are great, but the horn keys, i.e., Bb and Eb, are particularly good sounding on guitar)

Looks like D'Angelico is being made in the USA again. West Coast...by a luthier named Baker. The videos look really promising.

Of course, the prices are going to be premium.

I went over to a buddys house recently and got a chance to try my guitar through a great number of hand wired modern beauties as well some vintage stuff.

Cool tip on the water tap rubber. I use packing foam. The key is to mute those nasty, random harmonic producing sources. I mute the strings behind the nut at the headstock, too.
