Wow, 2 finger operations, you're really unlucky.

I once had some guy slam a car door over my right hand fingers..couldn't play for a week or so...hurt so much..

I believe practicing 5ths and 6ths is really interesting compared to the usual beginner exercise "manual".

Really nice, really liked the footage. Sadly in my country there's no one to play gigs with except my friends. Everybody plays "manele" (you should try it out sometime..turns your stomach up ...

It's always interesting to see that great songs are most often composed out of 2-3 simple chords in a basic rhythm.

Joe Pass is one of the greatest, he's technique is a little rough, in the sense that you can't compare it to flamenco players (Paco de Lucia) but that guy sure does know a lot of music.

I think a compressor is a bit too much, i believe a jazz tone should be as simple and smooth as possible.

Wyble is really great, but as in many types of music, if you really want to practice something you turn to classical music. Bach kicks ass Very Happy
