Still a work in progress, and maybe someday soon I'll have some clips up of me playing in various styles and settings.

Hey Jake,

I just read your ''A Set of Exercises in Creativity for Players of All Levels'' and I really like the way you say ''have fun, make a game out of it''.
That is one of the most important things for musicians, but however, I find that alot of musicians, stick too much to rules and what is ''avoid stuff'' and actually really not explore so much. Which is something you have to do alot to be a good and creativ player...
I´ll try to mess with that later, actually, I think this would be very funny on my ''Brazilian folklore Viola'' (looks like a little classical guitar but have ten strings, 5 pairs, and is tuned in a E major chord. B, E, G#, B, E)...
A very beautyfull instrument....

Cool man, thanks! That's a nice compliment. Hopefully I'm going to write a lot more "tips" in that vein, they are fun to write...

ive added you and id love for you to go more in to bop playing as its 1 thing i need help on i still struggle making it flow sometimes like the greats do and finding when to stick those passing notes in at right time and what chromatic note!!

Yeah you certainly got off to a good start, I'm gonna have to get back to you with some questions and maybe an idea, I have to locate the idea so I can show you what I'm talking about, anyways looks good and helpful to many. later

Keep in mind that the purpose of the site is to let people know about the private guitar lessons I offer. The lessons on the page are just for fun
