CM7
Code:

------------------8|--8---------------|------||
-------------5---8-|---8---5----------|------||
----------5--------|-----------5------|------||
-------5-----------|-------------5----|------||
----7--------------|---------------7--|------||
-8-----------------|------------------|------||

Sticky requested and first contribution by alfonso.

Try to use a font where the characters are all one size. Courier New works well.

Windows users can also download TabIt (thanks to jakejew for pointing that tool out).

Use code tags to imbed your arp. Example the above arp is like the following when code takes are added:

Code:

[code]
------------------8|--8---------------|------||
-------------5---8-|---8---5----------|------||
----------5--------|-----------5------|------||
-------5-----------|-------------5----|------||
----7--------------|---------------7--|------||
-8-----------------|------------------|------||
[/code]

Hey yeah you guys caught me on that one, I cut and pasted the CM7 and tabbed, sent it to Gorecki not even thinking to remove the 7. My main point was for for all you players in the arp world to Code you're favorite ones. That was the bottom line, guess you could say I can't Code, can't cut and paste and I can't tab but, I can play a little bit of jazz guitar. So be kind and move on. Embarassed

Nice A7 #5b9#9 Arpeggio....at least I think that's what it is. I learn't it from Ted Greene's book 'Single note soloing vol 2'. That book has got hundreds of great arps.

Yeah I use this one all the itme, it's great because it functions a few ways

Bbminmaj7

A7alt

Gm7b5

Eb7

If you take away the D string it's Cmaj7#5 as well

I use this arpeggio for many different situations

a cool kinda E9 13 arpeggio

that's a major 7th not a dominant so it would be EM9add13 since there's no 11.

Sounds dominant to me: R-3-5-6-b7-9-5-13. Major 7th would have been D# instead of D on the G string.

I`m not sure about the intent of the thread but here are a few
fragments that connect pretty well.
If they are supposed to be altered or interesting sorry.
On the other hand I know a lot of these so if you are interested I will
be glad to post them.
They dont all connect so nicely but they have their uses.

Code:

Two  root postion Ami7 arps that connect very nicely.
I added the last "A" note just to illustrate that it is there if you want it.

Ami7 = A C E G
------------------------------------5-----------
----------------------------5--8--------------
--------------------------5-------------------
---------------5-------7---------------------
-------------7--------------------------------
-------5--8----------------------------------

Same Deal but this time they are

AM7 = A C# E G#
-----------------------------4-------5---------
---------------------------5------------------
-------------------------6--------------------
--------------6-------7------------------------
--------4--7-----------------------------------
------5---------------------------------------

Of coures

A7 = A C# E G
-------------------------------------5-----------
--------------------------5--8--------------------
------------------------6------------------------
--------------5------7----------------------------
--------4--7--------------------------------------
------5------------------------------------------

Here's an augmented arpeggio, augmented like diminished can be looked at 4 different ways or keys/ chord forms. This is C+ or E+, G#+, Ab+.

------------------8|--8---------------|------||
-------------5---9-|---9---5----------|------||
----------5--------|-----------5------|------||
-------6-----------|-------------6----|------||
----7--------------|---------------7--|------||
-8-----------------|-----------------8--|------||

Hey Alfonso....
The G#+ and Ab+ are the same, diminished can be seen in 4 different ways since they are minor thirds, but the augmented are just three.... Wink ....

Later.....

Bjørn.
