Has happened a couple of times in recent history but not over the last few days. What *usually* causes this is the IP address of the site changed in the background and your cookie got broken. You should be able to simply login again and it'll stick...should. Laughing

That's good news Gorecki. It's a bit of an aggravation having to log back in every time.

Just to make sure things aren't obvious:

1. When you get to the site, it doesn't show you as logged in?

2. Have you tried logging in using the link at the top of the forums, leaving and then coming back?

3. Worst case, If the system doesn't show you as logged in and will not allow you to log in. You may need to remove the cookie for www.playjazzguitar.com. Doing so depends on the browser being used. Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, ->Internet Options.. click the Delete Cookies button. This will clean all cookies from your system (something you may not want to do). Any case then repeat this process from step 2.

4. Sometimes, especially from places of work, network admins will make changes that affect you, like cookies or internet restrictions of some sort. These sorts of situations are something I can do nothing about.

289 since January 1st! Not counting the 10 in my inbox (that are likely spams as well) from today. Sad thing, is since I started tracking them on the first of the year, I believe the volume has reduced a bit. Confused

289?? Bloody hell. There has to be some sort of filter in the admin panel that prevents this at source. Might not be invented yet though I guess. Sorry you have to go through all that.

Yeah, I wish their was a filter. Call it the 'block moron's' filter. Laughin my arse off

Naw, nothing we can do. That's why I turned on admin activation a half a year ago, so they don't get through and post first.

Nature of the beast. I know it doesn't only happen to us, that's for certain. Wink
