The annual Brubeck Festival will be held this Wednesday to next Sunday (4/11-4/15) at the University of Pacific in Stockton California. This years featured artists include:
Dave Brubeck Quartet
Capital Jazz Project
Stockton Symphony
Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet
and many others.

The Capitol Jazz Project is excellent. If you get a chance you should check it out. I am biased of course since Joe Gilman ( CJP Piano) was my Theory and Jazz Improv teacher at ARC. They are strictly pro none the less. Glad to see this post!  |

erikaustinmusic- I wasn't able to get the festival so I'll have to try to catch The Capitol Jazz Project at another show.
ARC??? I attended there in the mid '90s for Electronics. How was the Jazz/Music program? I thought about going back there just to check out the program when I get more time.
You live fairly close to me and if you are playing out somewhere let me know and I'll try to get out and have a listen. |
