Hey, thanks alot everybody for all your nice comments, I really appreciate it, thanks.... ......
Im going home to Denmark here in the mid-june, and I have being keeping up with some of my really good friends and great musicians in Denmark during my years here in Brazil.
We will make a ''Brazilian'' Quintet, or maybe Quartet, and Im planning to make a MySpace page when things get firmly (Dont know if this is the right term) between us.
Then I´ll post the site when time comes so that you also can hear the music I write.
I have enjoyed many of your pages and recordings from here over the time, but I wanted to wait with my own page until I would have my own group with my friends from home....
Later all, and thanks again...... ...
Igiro, it was a 4-year program, but I have being here allmost 6 years.
First year was on a 1-year scolarship with the purpose to learn Brazilian music (only guitar classes).
The second year I started on a jazz program where I studied with the Great Ary Piazzarollo (which you guys might not know), but during the 12-14 years he lived im Miami, he played alot with guys like George Benson, Whayne Shorter....etc etc.....
In that time I played exclusively in Big-bands, but after 7-8 months, I changed the program to a more Brazil-oriented one.
Didn´t make much sense to me that I was in Brazil to study Jazz which I could have done back home and also propably at at much more jazzier level.
And also, what I really wanted was to play Brazilian music. Study the music of Hermeto Pascoal and Itiberê Zwarg...Etc etc....
