Hey
I got inspired by Gene (Trotsky) to play this on a gig last weekend. It`s such a great tune, and it`s been a while since I played it. It`s not perfect at all, but fun anyway And I really tried to keep it "bluesy".

| Great as usual! I like that little seconds thing you did towards the beginning. |

| Thanks eleven7. I`m glad you liked it. Yeah, it`s my D`Angelico, but the amp is an old Polytone Minibrute II. My favourite jazz-amp. |

| Well I don't know whether to call that back or fore-ground noise, but it's like your soulful (and yes, Bluesy) playing is just going its own sweet way regardless of the chitter chatter. Rather poignant in a way. |

Michael, Beautiful!
Poignant means emotionally touching in a kinda sweet and sad way. |

This is a great tune.
Good treatment Michael, and very nice tone.
I've heard a few versions of this one and my favourite is Elvis Costello's live at Ronnie Scott's with Chet Baker.
I think I'll have to rip of a few more Jazzy licks! _________________ Miles is the answer. |
