Is the string tension higher on guitars with a longer
distance bettween the bridge and the tailpiece ?

Interested because my 335 (with aprox 1" from bridge to stop tailpiece) feels a lot softer on the hands , it feels like lower tension
than my Jazz box with a trad trapeze tailpiece approx 3" from the bridge.

I'm guessing yes ......
