that is sad. another great one gone (and an underappreciated one, IMHO)

gonna put on "mutual street" with rob an ed bickert tonight.

Terrible news.
Rob M was a brilliant and versatile musician.
His Trio concerts with Ed Bickert and Neil Swainson were some of the greatest moments of my life.

It is a beautiful example of taste , class and world class musicianship.
You could tune piano and adjust a metronome to Neils bass playing.
The loss of Rob is heartbreaking.
