Just listened to Sonny Rollins' "Please Sonny", he's still sounding great. All the older cats play with that stompin' blues feel, it really makes jazz lines sounds soulful and personal.
Bobby Broom has an exquisite jazz tone that's really nice, great playing too. But at times I wish he gets a little more dirty, which would compliment Sonny's style a bit more.

I was fortunate enough to see Sonny play with Bobby in Chapel Hill this year and it was phenomenal. Broom played so well I bought two of his albums that week.
