Man, I don't get it.

My kids are all grown, but do they bring me whisky?

Noooooooooh.

They come to the house and drink up all of mine, go through the beer, find my wine, complain about all of it being low quality and don't bother to take the empties out to the trash can.

I'm gonna' go get me a big ol' pick handle and meet 'em at the door.

I think because this site is more geared towards an older age group, is the main reason why there is less activity on this site. Older people might not be so inclined to be as active as younger players.
Yup. This could be true.

But wait -- I don't see how the site is geared TOWARDS an oder age group. JAZZ is an older age group music, for the most part.

I was wondering the same thing. Jorge, can you explain in what way it's geared towards older people? And welcome to the forum by the way.

FWIW, Jorge, got his account suspended because of a massive amounts of links to pills, thrills, russian women...etc, etc, etc. in his signature I'm guessing no one saw but me. Laughing

I'm going to be on it. After the updates and everything too! I've been busy, but will do my best to whip up the guitar players!

Working for a living is a drag...although in this current economy I should be grateful I can complain about it.
I keep checking the lottery tickets..but no luck... Rolling Eyes

I check in often here often but most of what I say is like a broken record...I even get sick of myself!!! Embarassed

Stick banging away at the Chord Melody solo guitar thing and I will put another one up next month...
And still dreaming of a new guitar...now I am leaning towards an Eastman Laughing

Well hell, if people are feeling insecure about their skill level, knowledge, qualifications to join in conversation let me be the first to assure everyone that I'm just a hack level player...doesn't mean a guy can't play out though, and doesn't mean I don't have an opinion on everything. Wink

Other observations about some of us being interested in the instruments is partially true, at least for me, but I too am a hack player having been denied the ability to play for years by a crabby "ex-wife".

So I have catching up to do and like you have what "I" think are valid opinions and observations.

On some other sites the participants seem totally EAGER to start flame wars between users, bummer.
