Ok computer geeks, can anyone tell me how to create pdf files?

You must have one of these:
- adobe acrobat (not acrobat reader, it isn`t free)
- TeX or LaTeX (DTP system, downside is that it isn`t WYSIWYG, you must learn TeX`s tags, and MusicTeX tags, but TeX is bery good, it is really useful and free)
- openoffice (free, got write to pdf option) or other program which can write pdf files without aadobe acrobat (most note editors can)

There is also one other way - install postscript printer driver, print with it to file (it will convert any printable document to ps) and use free ps->pdf converter

I'm slowly getting my chord melody pieces onto paper and figured that pdf was the way to go.

Edit: Can Acrobat read any type of pdf? I mean is pdf universal or is their acrobat pdf and primo pdf etc?
