well, i just tried doing a little recording of an arrangement of this...let me know what you think, please, i'd like some feedback...

i think it's a little busy, personally, but i still tense up a little when the record light is on, even if i'm in my living room.

here's the link, go to the tab marked "music." you can go lo-fi or hi-fi...i'd suggest hi if your internet connection can handle it.

I loved it, really. Except I wasn't feeling you on the tight single note fills,. they did seem "tense" as you put it.

Take it for what it's worth, I don't comment on clips that much, I really liked this, especially the block chords. Very smooth.

I usually hesitate to critique other people's work, especially when I'm not qualified. However, I liked it. Very nice. I thought the octave thing would have been put to better use if the piece was longer, but still I enjoyed it.

That said, don't pay me no never mind. I'm just a Strat-pickin' blues-rockin' ex-horn player, and we all know about horn players. Confused

Dude now that was very impressive, sweet tone on that guitar and a few nice curves I didn't expect. Very good, thanks.

Man that was fantastic! Really liked it.
I have an arrangement of that tune (unrecorded) and so I was right with you as you were playing, but your version put mine to shame.
Negative shit - I didn't like you ending, too long and redundant, in my fly speck of an opinion.

Man, what else ya got!

just wanted to thank a lot of you for your encouraging words...i'm working on recording some new stuff and i'll get it up here soon. it's rare to find a forum in which i respect so many different people's opinions...and to answer a few questions--

pauld-- i am in the city, far south side.

and the channels are unbalanced...but not intentionally...i was trying to mix electric signal and acoustic...gotta watch those meters!

well, thanks again.

Well done,
that was really nice and chilled, and to be honest, I didnt really felt those tense moments that you mentioned, and its hearable that it comes from the heart, I liked it alot.
At a moment it gave me the feeling that I was listening to the Joe Pass cd Virtouso......

Take care,

Bjørn.
