Anyone found any young jazz guitarists who are destined to take the world by storm? I'd love to hear your thoughts. _________________ http://www.playjazzguitar.com

| James Muller is an incredible young modern jazz guitar player from Sydney australia Inspired by scofield But I much prefer his playing. He has 2 cd's "AllOut" and "Thrum" I think any jazz guitar player at any level should get both CD's there is so much good stuff to learn. His technque is faultless and he writes great tunes. So that's my favourate, enjoy! |

It's a bit cheeky I know, but have a listen to my stuff - there's a live mp3 on the front page of my website (see sig). I usually put a new one up every month or so.
Cheers

Hey...
Everybody should check out Staffan William-Olsson, a swedish guitar-player, but he is now living in Norway. He`s truly amazing. Great technique and incridible melodic, both when improvising and composing.
In the Benson, Martino, Wes style.
You won`t be disappointed, I promise |

A fusion player, I guess - billed as the new John McLaughlin apparently. plays really nice. Also a really nice bloke (most jazz guitarist are, it seems!) |

Julian Lage has to be one of the best jazz up and comers who has already played with alot of the jazz heavy-weights. Also, I don't think this guy would qualify as a youngster but, he's damned good, he's from the New York area and his name is Rick Del Savio, Rick also has a very informative web site with alot of good lessons...
