Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum, and thought I'd start off by sending you a clip of me playing, as I'm in need of a bit of feedback. I haven't been playing jazz for very long, not real jazz anyway, mostly gipsyjazz, and would appreciate som criticism I actually play with Djangold, who's visited the site a few times. So, nice to be here, and here's the tune: stompin' at the S:

Hey jonny that was cool.
Kept me interested for two listens through. Liked the swing.
Great choice of standard. Liked your tone.
Post some more if you get time.
cheers _________________ Miles is the answer. |

Thanks for the kind words:). So it sounds jazzy? That's my problem, see: trying to get those mixolydians and mxypltlks or whatever they're called, in there, and in the right places..to get that jazzy sound.
Some constructive criticism would be appreciated, as well, I... think :/ |
