This is a video of the original great guitars I know it's a little fuzzy, Charlie Byrd, Barney Kessel & Herb Ellis after Kessel passed away they added Tal Farlow. Incidently you can see one of the string dampers on Herb's guitar made by George Van Epps to prevent feedback. Also, and only cause I know Charlie Byrd used to be one of my all-time idols in the beginning the credits name the bass player as Gene Byrd, his name is Joe Byrd he has a website and still plays. And lastly in case you've never seen one Barney has his guitar hooke up with a Charlie Christian pick-up. later

Wow. I saw that on TV back around '82. It got my attention not only because of the great music, but because I had an Ovation classical just like Charlie Byrd's.
I figured out part of that piece while the show was on and continued messing around with it afterwards. Now after all these years I find out I learned it wrong. _________________ BLAHBLAHBLAH |

Is great stuff, I still really like Herb. He's just a joy to watch.
Didn't realize Byrd ever played an Ovation?!? Guess I fall short of 'in the know'. _________________
