Sorry, the video quality is really poor, but the audio is good and the performance is great (IMHO). Here's Joe doing Lover-Man

Paul,
It's a shame the video wasn't up to par, the music sure was what an intro Diorio is massive in his intervallic thinking and playing. Here's a link talking about Joe, he doesn't have a web site anymore and I don't know that he ever did. later

No need for image, just close your eyes and listen.....
Diorio is amazing, I get alot inspiration from his intervallic playing.....

That's the Real Deal, that put a huge smile on my face at a time of intense sadness. The playing is brilliant, and I love that guitar resting on the belly; it's a blues thing. Loverman was of course also great ; like Corcovado ,it's one of my all-time favorite tunes. Thanks Paul |

My guitar teacher used to study with this guy. He's a monster. _________________ "By the time I got to Miami, Hurricane Pat had already blown threw, and everyone had lost their right hand" |

I like Joe Diorio a lot. But for me , he is an aquired taste - a very different type of player than what I am used to. I have to be in the mood for him. Fortunately, most of the time , I am.
Thanks for sharing this Paul.
