Yeah, but Bill took a lot of working on until he understood us....

Now of course he's an honorary Brit, he almost gets most of the jokes and he drinks proper beer, not the rat piss which passes for beer in the States.... Wink

Which reminds me of a story when I was in an American bar with some English mates and we asked for 5 pints. It was a genuine slip of the tongue and before I could correct the bar girl said 'Well y'awl have to drink from thse y'ear pitchers' meaning of course that she sells a pitcher of beer and you get 5 glasses. So I ordered 5 pitchers of beer and we stood at the bar drinking out of them thinking what jolly good large measures they serve in the colonies. So she starts to tell us that you're not supposed to drink out of the pitchers (we didn't know this) but she gave up in the end....We had several each as I remember.....

Seeing the gentleman posing moved me to write about my latest audition

My agent Mr Tact and Diplomacy 2006 says" Tony they are looking for guys with fat bellies to do a commercial on diabetes Get yourself down to a swimming pool in West London (about 20 miles away ) first thing Monday morning "

So I do this and lo and behold we are all there at 9 o clock on a December morning doing aerobics in the water while a young lady in a scuba divers suit films us underwater - pervy or what

Now I weigh 240ish and at 6 feet woul.d be described as "chunky " but some of my fellows make me look like a a knitting needle So I probably won't get the job as there is one guy who is 6 feet 9 inches and weighs 320 pounds with tattoos all over his chest
