| I know there are others probably asking similar questions, but here I go. Can anyone suggest a practice schedule for an alotted time of about one hour a day. I know basic things to do such as work on scales arpeggios, chord forms, tunes etc. What I am really looking for is what type of breakdown to do each day. In otherwords, I know I will not be able to get through all the scales and arpeggios at each setting. so should I break it down to working specifically on a given key such as Monday work on everything in the key of C, Tuesday the key of F, etc etc. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks. Tom |

Totally depends on where you are and what your goals are. Where would you like to be with your guitar playing?
For some people, practicing scales and arpeggios would be a total waste of time, and for others it might be essential.
maybe give us more info about yourself? _________________ "Inspiration may be a form of superconsciousness, or perhaps of subconciousness - I wouldn't know. But I am sure that it is the antithesis of self-consciousness." - Aaron Copland |

I'm still interested in what your goals are and where you are now. Remember that it's important to get some real playing in there in addition to fretboard memorization stuff! _________________ "Inspiration may be a form of superconsciousness, or perhaps of subconciousness - I wouldn't know.
