Yea, the Spurs just won their game! Now on to the championship.

Leaving the gig downtown tonight was a traffic nightmare with everyone
celebrating, but there wasn't any trouble as far as I know.
Just excitement.

I don't think pro football's gonna happen here but they keep trying. They built a
big Alamodome which sits empty most of the time. Now they say it needs remodeling. I wish they'd just give up on football here. The city's growing,
but lots of min. wage jobs and low income.
We DO love the Spurs however and if they win the championship,
we'll have a big river parade. They say 300,000 people came to the riverwalk for the last one. I was down there too, early for my gig so I could
find a parking space.

I assume the Spurs are a football team. Here in the UK we have a London team (soccer) called Tottenham Hotspur which is known as the Spurs.

We call soccer football and Football (USA) American Football. There is also Gaelic foootball (Ireland) and Australian football played to Australian Rules. Not to mention Rugby Football which divides into Union and League.

I have no interest in any of this.

Oh Right,

One of my kids plays basketball. I don't think anyone inthe USA needs to worry though.

In soccer today we are probably more concerned about Americans of the Latin variety but I am sure the USA will give us probs in the long run.
