Just a quick question.
Has anyone here listened to Mike Miller from L.A?
He's one of those guys that really understands how to play melodically even over serious changes.
Thats one of those things that define a guitarist and seperate him from the rest of the pack.
I saw Mike live close up a number of times and each one of his solo's (besides demonstrating his uncanny rythmic chops) was one melodic idea after another. There's a couple things on the live in Japan with Karizma that includes Nathen East and Carlos Vega (before he passed away) that demonstrate this concept beautifully.
Here's an interview worth reading,

Regards and keep on it! _________________ A good axe will get you through times of no women better then a women will in times of no guitars. Sad but true. |

| Mike Miller is extraordinary! I met him at a jazz festival in Norfolk several years ago - he played guitar for Tom Scott that night. His "Band Overboard" LP is buitar-bass-drums live. Awesome! His new CD "Save The Moon" is sort of hard to come by. |

| You might also check out Paint the World by Chick Corea, Paint the World by Doug Robinson, and No Hyenas by Steve and Ed Fowler. |
