Hi Igiro.

Actually I have a not-music-relatet 8:00 to 16:00 job from monday to friday, and these days I also teach privat lessons from 17:00 to 19:30.
Besides that I reherse with my quintet 8 hours every sunday.
Thats my music we play, and hopefully there should be material ready for a cd by august.
I´ll try to get a myspace up earlier with a few of the tunes...

Later......

Bjørn,

Hey Bjorn , congrats on making it back to your homeland. You sound happy. Merry Christmas to all. I finished phase one of the remodel project I told you all of; hardwood floors, paint, built in cabinets and there's more to come; all by myself too. I also work about 28 hours a week on a day job. The remodel job earned me a 1989 Gibson Chet Atkins nylon string acoustic-electric. I had it set up by the best guy in the area, and it's absolute heaven in comparison to my guitars of recent years. I put icing on the cake by getting a Fender acoustasonic amp, just last night. I'll have Pictures and maybe a little clip soon. Happy Holidays. I wanted to tell someone, because this pro rig I have now is a big deal for me. Cool

The guitar was real sweet today, not really jazz I guess, just playing . The melody notes ring and it just sounds glorious. I mean it's the best I can sound. This stuff I'm playing is too simple I guess, The classical guys from England would probably laugh at it. I love it though, absolute heaven. Thanks for the shout out guys. I listen to you guys whenever possibe, the clips are awesome.

Yeah Hanni I do the Classical tunes like Oh Holy Night and Ave Maria, actually I play about 30 or even 35 Christmas tunes. It's hard to reduce it all to level this or that though; did you do this trick , did you do that trick, is your technique acceptable to Professor Dickweed and blah blah blah. if music makes you feel good and you play with passion then that's all you should need. Iv'e been listening to Liona Boyd, Chet Atkins, Laurendo Alameida, Earl Klugh, and Segovia. Then I sit down and play the best I can. Yesterday was the best ever, and iv'e played for 30 years so I would know. I always enjoy your posts Hanni, I bet you are getting good quick. no intention to hijack Bjorn's thread, I just wanted to chat a bit.

I have a sense 2008 is going to be one awesome year....at least to me. Laughing Ya see, 8 is my number (where it when I play soccer), also this year I'll be 42 and the great book (Hitchhikers Guide) says 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything....so folks I'm golden! Wink

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
