No Guitar Junky my luthier friend doesn't have a website...although he should. He just nicely got himself a CD player Confused
He is very well known and respected by thr local guitarists but he is a little shy on ambition Laughing
I think he would rather work on his antique cars most of the time!
His name is Don CARTER and his shop is in Sarnia ON CANADA and can be reached at 519-344-2940 .The store front is called MIDTOWN MUSIC.
Later
Gene
BTW

Hey, Guitar Junky,

Nice collection. Honest to goodness, though, I thought I was looking at _my_ guitars. Our taste in guitars--right down to colors and apparent years--is about the same (Gretsches, Fenders, Gibsons...down to the particular models). Like you, I've changed some of the pieces, but I'd say we both are pretty deep into GAS.

Enjoy them all! (The 6120 Nashville on the back right would get a Cal Collins seal of approval for jazz, by the way.)

I would love to see pics of yours!

Yes the Nashvill and also the 62 es-175!

Thanks I will take a note, in the meantime, let him know about the Montreal Guitar Show that I organize... He might like all these goodies in one room and to assist to some of the luthiers workshops...

Geesh that is a shame!!!
Nothing like the Tim Hortons Joe....If I had to give that up it would be the end of me. Laughing
I see that TH's are starting to creep across the border up here in Michigan....OH BOY!!! Razz
..Here comes the invasion....you might want to look into a franchise down that way! Wink

G-Junky...
I will run the show by my buddy the builder but I doubt he would travel that distance for anything. Rolling Eyes
He attends a guitar show in Michigan once in a while but mostly he is a recluse.....
Good for me as it keeps his prices down!!!
Here is my main guitar.

It is the one that I play on the Share Your Music posts that I have made and I love it so much it makes my heart ache just to look at it!!!
I have had it for ten years or so now and it has pretty much spoiled me for all other guitars.
Great talking to you!

GuitarJunky:
I never have figured out how to put pictures on the web via photobucket. I tried to on another forum (fly fishing is another passion), but I gave up in frustration. [I must confess, also, to having some fear of broadcasting to the world my stuff for fear of getting ripped off.]

I was thinking about taking some pictures, though, of the differences between Matsumoku-made Aria PE-180 and Memphis EL300--hmm? Actually, there are none--they are the identical guitar, Gibson Super-V clones made in the late-70s. They differ only in the names in inlay pearloid on the headstock. Trouble is, I don't know how to post photos to the forum.

God I miss Tim Horton's and Alexander Keith's.

That's what sucks about being Nova Scotian born and bread, you can't ever get that shit out of your system.

Welcome to the forum!!
