Anyone have a PolyTone MiniBrute II or IV?
What can you say about this amp?
Strickly for Jazz Guitar amplifiecation -- that clean woody sound amplified -- would you recommend this amp? ...and which one? _________________ Music blows the dust off your soul...ChordMelody.Org |

I`ve got a minibrute IV, it sounds great.
I`ve done a lot of jazz gigs with this amp, so I can strongly recommend it.
Works perfect |

I have a Mini Brute 1, which is the same as the Mini Brute 2 but no reverb. Its a great amp, but its an older one with no mid knob. It would be about perfect if it had a mid, but the newer ones do I believe. _________________ Heritage 575 Spruce with Kent Armstrong PAF

| I've been playing a minibrute iv for awhile.. its really hard to beat for the price and sound. Roland JC120 is a bigger amp but sounds truly fantastic. Its amazing, the 120s have been going for $400 on eBay. |

...that was the concept behind the origin of the Polytone amp in the 70s ... guitarists were in search of an map that would cut through the horns ... musicians invented the Polytone amps just for that purpose ... _________________ Music blows the dust off your soul...ChordMelody.Org |
