I should take pictures of what the walls are gonna look like if you ever take them off. oh man! I'm happy you are reaching your goal though.
I've been remodeling some bathrooms coated with wallpaper from 1986. The date is stamped on the back. You have to strip the gear off the Walls, then peel the 1999 layer of wallpaper off, then perforate the 1986 layer by hand, then strip it with a steaming tool, about 3 and a half hours of steaming and stripping per room. Then you have to skim coat ,patch, sand, and prime the entire room. Then the masterpiece can start. The new paper looks awesome ,but all my nails are broken and my calluses are soft. Should have stayed in school. Oh well it pays for Spring Training tickets in sunny Florida. rant end....

i'd love to share some of the pics i've taken but don't have them hosted on an accesible website...only my pc. and it's my understanding you can't post 'em that way. Sad

i'd be happy to email some pics to anyone interested though.

ed norton....i hear you on the removal bit. i recently removed the wallpaper form a room in our house that had been up at least the 21 yrs we've lived here....NO FUN!!!!!

Very cool!! Cool Thanks for the pictures. How did you keep it all so level? Must have taken quite a while!

payING off is more like it.....only 50% done at this point. it's been more work than i thought but definitely worth the effort.

"cool! nice-looking critters, too. quite a collection of vinyl, there..."

don't let their nice looks fool you. Oscar (dog) only wants to play his vibraphone (and trust me....he has NO business trying to play 4 mallets) and Percy (cat) only wants to listen to his vinyl.

that's why we still need to get some more labels to keep these guys busy.

"How did you keep it all so level? Must have taken quite a while!"

i actually used a level to pencil in my vertical guide lines!
