Ran across this fellow on you tube. Don't know who he is, but he's good!

Nice indeed! That's Christopher Woitach. He's a professor of jazz guitar at Western Oregon University. I've seen some of his instructional material on TrueFire.com.

Very sorry about that. I've seen your 'Jazz Textures' video on Truefire and somehow thought that other video was also you. Really enjoy your playing, by the way.

No worries - I can see how you might mistake the two of us. I am, of course, the more stunningly handsome one, but that's probably not relevant...

Thank you all for your kind words, and thanks for checking out my music!

Cool playing and love the guitar...has a beautiful archy 'honk'.
Beautiful Love is such a cool moody piece of music....impossible to play without being affected....great played slow and fast.
Any more inf you can provide to the forum about the guitar you are playing??

I thought the other guy was better looking.
Hope you post again. The forum could use some traffic. How did you find that post? it's pretty funny that you popped up to correct it.

My guitar is made by Ithaca Stringed Instruments. The luthier is Eric Aceto, who's an old friend of mine. It has a Fralin pickup. I wanted an arch top without any f holes, the idea being that it might cut down in the wolf tones. That did work - the basic tone of the instrument is midrange nasal, but I cut the mids around 1 k, and it's pretty good. The amp is a Genz Benz Compak 300.
