Has anybody here played the Ibanez PM35? it's the more affordable Metheny signature model. I had a few minutes with it today, really blown away with the built, playability and quality. I'm seriously consider getting it for an alternative to my ol trusty ES175. Great jazz guitar for $900.

I played one quite some time ago. Very smooth transition compound radius neck. Pickup is a little bright but can be smoothed out pretty easily.

Id do it if I were in need.

I have not played one and they look pretty cool!! Cool

Please forgive my new owners enthusiasm here but... Embarassed

If you haven't tried an Eastman...give em a try. I wish somebody had talked me into these years ago.
The one I just bought is the t185. It is completely hollow except for the block under the bridge.
Similar in sound to the 175 but a little more of something in another direction.

I payed right around what you are talking about.

Not a specific answer to your question I know, but I had to put that our there.

I haven't checked it out yet. I used to have a PM20 which was made in Korea and now discontinued, but I sold it. It was a nice guitar.
