Could be a casualty of the sluggish world economy. Too bad. They are sweet guitars.

++There's so much bias going around on certain guitars like the D'a brand. I can understand some not liking the Chinese thing what with bad drywall, poisonous milk, lead in kid's toys, salmonella in exported dog food, but Japan vs. Korea, vs. Indonesia etc? Some have no problem buying a $1100 peerless MIK but not a D'a? Gimme a break Smile

Anyway... I have a D'Angelico EXS-1DH and there's so much disdain for the FAMILY and the D'a business they lose sight of the fact that they ARE great guitars and very reasonable. I'm very glad I got mine while I could.

Looks like D'Angelico is being made in the USA again. West Coast...by a luthier named Baker. The videos look really promising.

Of course, the prices are going to be premium.
