If I could possibly figure out how to post a picture of myself, I would.

My tries with the img tags was hopeless.

my brain is too full of music. and that's a good thing

I have been playing for over 20 years and am still learning something new every day. I love jazz guitar the best but am still trying to find my grove in blues. I know and can play the form well but finding the grove one must feel their way and make every note count. It's not what we say musically but how we say it. Practice, practice, paractice and practice. Join in and play with other cats, and practice, practice, practice. Good luck all.........Tbone... Cool

Southern California, Palm Springs area to be exact. I moved here from New Jersey in 1988. However, I am in the process of moving to the Hemet/Temecula area of California. I started a new teaching job in Temecula last week.

Lincoln, UK. I know the above mentioned Tom Ross. I could tell you lots about Tom but I think he's just about to send me some money as a gift. Oh, this is my first post, hi everyone. Tom posted a link up to this forum on Guitarist forum so ta to Tom. Looks mildly good here. I suppose I'd better do the new topic hello thing.

Tar castle? I did my courting on Skeg sand dunes. Funny thing was we became friendly with a couple some years later and she had been a policewoman. One of her jobs when she was at Skeg was to patrol the dunes looking for courting couples We could have met a lot earlier......

Classic!
We used to have a family holiday every year at Ingoldmels (spelling) and I remember having to clean the tar off me feet after playing in the frothy sea! Laughing Actually, I remember actual Skeggy as being a lot better.
Is there a jazz scenes anywhere in Lincoln or surrounding area?
(I've been getting a little nostalgic lately, even listening more to Arctic Monkeys than jazz! Laughing )

cheers

Yeah there's a jazz club here that puts gigs on in the Drill Hall, there's also a pub called the Tap and Spile which has some great bands on in the blues/jazz vein. I used to gig at a club at Ingoldmells on a caravan site, the Water Leisure Park. Not a bad venue actually, lots of ladies on holiday... Cool .
