Have you tried to use the Guitar Codex in GuitarMadeSimple and only get a grey screen?

The following will instruction you on how to correct this problem.

Solution One: Will function on most systems but will not have sound
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First requirement, GuitarMadeSimple MUST BE INSTALLED, we cannot replace a file on the CD-ROM.

You will need to know where you have GMS installed and navigate to its course\codex\ folder.

Right click and 'Save As' or 'Save Target As' the following link saving the file over the file of the same name within the course\codex\ folder. You will receive a confirmation dialog to overwrite the file. Say Yes.

That should correct the problem. Please let us know if it doesn't.

Solution Two: JRE1.3 Installation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To fully correct Guitar Codex you will need to allow the installation of Java Plug-in 1.3. Any system you use GMS will need this Plug-in!

If you click on the following link, you will be asked to download and install the Java Plug-in

Guitar Codex v2.2b

Once this installation is complete, your GMS Codex should function correctly.
